Privacy Policy

Your privacy, protected.

0xFOX Foundation is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the 0xFOX predictive cross-chain bridge and agent marketplace.

Last updated: April 10, 2026 · Effective immediately

Data Collection

1. Information We Collect

Wallet Addresses: When you connect a wallet to 0xFOX, we store your public wallet address(es) to facilitate bridging and identity management. We never request or store private keys or seed phrases.

Transaction Data: We record swap intents, virtual balance changes, and settlement activity within the V-Ledger to operate the bridge service and provide you with transaction history.

Usage Data: We may collect anonymised usage metrics such as pages visited, features used, browser type, and device information to improve our platform.

Communications: If you contact us via email or social channels, we retain the correspondence to respond to your inquiry.

Usage

2. How We Use Your Information

Providing Services: Processing cross-chain bridge intents, maintaining virtual balances, executing settlements, and operating the agent marketplace.

Security & Fraud Prevention: Monitoring for anomalous activity through our fox-immune anomaly detection system, enforcing circuit breakers, and protecting the integrity of the V-Ledger.

Improvements: Analysing aggregated, anonymised data to improve bridge prediction accuracy, matching engine performance, and user experience.

Legal Compliance: Complying with applicable laws, regulations, or legal processes where required.

Wallet Data

3. Wallet Data & Blockchain Information

Public blockchain data (wallet addresses, on-chain transactions) is inherently public. 0xFOX does not control or have the ability to delete data recorded on public blockchains.

Off-chain data in our V-Ledger (virtual balances, swap intents, matching records) is stored in our secured database infrastructure and is subject to our data retention policies.

We use alloy-primitives for Ethereum address handling and do not rely on third-party wallet analytics services for tracking purposes.

Cookies

4. Cookies & Local Storage

Essential Cookies: We use strictly necessary cookies or local storage entries to maintain session state, wallet connection preferences, and interface settings.

Analytics: We may use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate usage patterns. No personal data is shared with advertising networks.

You can disable cookies through your browser settings, though this may affect the functionality of the platform.

Third Parties

5. Third-Party Services

Blockchain Networks: Deposits and withdrawals interact with Ethereum, Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, and other supported networks. These transactions are governed by the respective blockchain protocols.

Wallet Providers: We integrate with third-party wallet providers (e.g., MetaMask, WalletConnect). Their use is governed by their own privacy policies.

Infrastructure: We use cloud hosting and database services to operate the platform. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.

Security

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption (TLS/rustls), access controls, and regular security audits.

The V-Ledger maintains cryptographic checkpoints for data integrity verification.

Our fox-immune system provides real-time anomaly detection and automated circuit breakers to protect against threats.

Despite our efforts, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights

7. Your Rights

Access: You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

Correction: You may request correction of inaccurate data.

Deletion: You may request deletion of your off-chain data, subject to legal retention requirements. On-chain data cannot be deleted.

Portability: You may request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.

Objection: You may object to certain processing activities where applicable under your jurisdiction's data protection laws.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@0xfox.org.

Retention

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as necessary to provide the service and comply with legal obligations.

Transaction records in the V-Ledger are retained for the operational lifetime of the platform to ensure audit integrity.

You may request deletion of your account and associated off-chain data at any time.
